Dilo — Speak, Scan or Type in 60+ Languages
Dilo turns your voice, typed text, camera photos and two-way conversations into 60+ languages on iPhone and Android, and keeps working offline with language packs for 59 languages.

Four Ways to Translate, One App
Dilo covers voice, text, camera and face-to-face conversation on iPhone and Android — and keeps every one of them working after you download a language pack.
Live Voice Translation
Tap the microphone in Dilo, say a sentence, and the translation appears on screen and is read aloud — no typing on a foreign keyboard.

Camera Text Mode
Point the phone at a menu, a street sign or a product label. Dilo reads the printed text on the device and shows the translation in place.

Conversation Mode
Two microphones and two languages on one screen. Dilo translates and speaks each turn, so two people can talk face to face without swapping the phone.

Offline Language Packs
Download any of 59 languages, roughly 30 MB each, before you fly. Dilo keeps translating voice, text and camera with no internet connection.

Instant Text Translation
Type in Dilo and the translated sentence updates as you write, so you can correct a word and see the result change immediately.
Camera Object Mode
Aim the camera at an object and Dilo names it in the target language, then offers alternative words for the same thing.
Auto-Pronunciation
Dilo reads every finished translation aloud, with an adjustable voice speed and a choice of a female or male voice.
History Stays on Your Device
Every translation is saved on the phone only, searchable and pinnable as a favorite. Dilo never uploads your history or your voice.

Three Steps to Your First Translation
- 1
Pick Your Two Languages
Choose a source and a target language from the 60+ Dilo supports, and swap them with a single tap when the conversation turns around.
- 2
Speak, Type or Point the Camera
Use the microphone, the keyboard, the camera in Text or Object mode, or Conversation mode with one microphone for each speaker.
- 3
Read It and Hear It
The translation appears on screen and Dilo speaks it aloud, then saves it to your on-device history so you can search for it later.
What is Dilo?
Dilo is a translation app for iPhone and Android built by Vidus6. It translates speech, typed text, camera photos and face-to-face conversations into 60+ languages, and keeps working offline once you download a language pack.
Does Dilo work offline?
Yes. Dilo offers offline packs for 59 languages, roughly 30 MB per language, that run on models stored on your phone. Download the pair you need before you travel and voice, text and camera translation keep working in airplane mode.
Which languages does Dilo support?
Dilo translates between 60+ languages while you are online, and 59 of them are available as downloadable offline packs. You can search the full list inside the app and download only the languages you actually need.
Are my voice and photos uploaded to a server?
Your voice is not: speech recognition runs on your device. Camera photos are the exception. For object recognition a reduced copy of the photo is sent to Vidus6's server, and every camera translation is kept there with its photo for 14 days to improve recognition, then deleted automatically. Typed and spoken text goes to the translation server only to be translated and is not stored.
What does Dilo PRO include?
Dilo is free with 20 translations a day and one camera translation a day. PRO removes both limits and unlocks Conversation mode. The current price is always shown in the app before you subscribe.
Is Dilo available on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. Dilo is built for iPhone and Android from one codebase, so voice, text, camera and Conversation mode behave the same on both platforms. Your history stays on each device rather than syncing to an account.
Ready to Understand and Be Understood?
Download Dilo for iPhone or Android, add the language packs you need, and translate voice, text and camera photos anywhere — even with no signal.
