What is Driftly?
Driftly is a sleep companion app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. It combines 100+ ambient sounds, guided breathing, a soothing nightlight, and a smart sleep timer in one beautifully designed toolkit so you can fall asleep faster and wake up refreshed.
Is Driftly free to download?
Yes — Driftly is free to download and includes a starter selection of sounds. An optional Premium upgrade unlocks the full library, mixing controls, the nightlight, breathing exercises, and more.
How many sounds does Driftly have?
Driftly includes over 100 professionally recorded ambient sounds across 14 categories — Nature, Water, Animals, Weather, Urban, Instruments, ASMR, Meditation, Sci-Fi, and more.
Can I mix multiple sounds together in Driftly?
Yes. With the Driftly Premium version you can layer multiple sounds and adjust each one independently with volume, softening, oscillation, and speed controls to build the perfect mix.
Does Driftly work offline?
Yes. Driftly's core sounds like rain, forest, ocean, wind, and birds are available offline. Premium sounds stream and require an internet connection.
Can I cancel my Driftly subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel any time through your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings and keep Driftly Premium access until the end of the current billing period.
Subscriptions and purchases
Cancel or change a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from. Deleting the app does not cancel them.
Restore a purchase
Reinstalled the app or switched phones? Open Driftly, tap Restore Purchases and use the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
Refunds
Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves.
Delete your data
Request it from the app
In Driftly, open the contact form in Settings, choose “Data Deletion Request” as the topic and send it. Messages from the app reach us together with the ID your data is stored under, so we can find and delete exactly your data. On an older version without that topic, pick any topic and write that you want your data deleted.
What happens next
We email the address you gave in the form to confirm the request. Once you confirm, your usage data, your subscription record and the messages you sent us are deleted within 30 days, and we let you know when it is done.
Good to know: Purchase records are kept by Apple and Google under their own policies. Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days. Driftly does not ask you to create an account, so your data is tied to a random ID the app creates on your device, not to your name or email. If you have already deleted the app, that ID went with it and the remaining data can no longer be linked to you.
