What is QRBot?
QRBot is an all-in-one QR code scanner and generator for iPhone, iPad, and Android. It instantly scans any QR or barcode, creates branded custom QR codes for 20+ content types, and keeps everything organized with scan history and end-to-end encrypted cloud sync.
Is QRBot free to download?
Yes — QRBot is free to download and includes QR scanning, barcode scanning, and basic generation. An optional Pro upgrade unlocks unlimited code creation, advanced customization, cloud sync, and more.
What types of codes can QRBot scan?
QRBot supports all major QR and barcode formats. It reads URLs, Wi-Fi networks, vCards, MeCards, calendar events, email, phone numbers, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify), cryptocurrency addresses, and plain text.
Can I create QR codes with QRBot?
Yes. QRBot generates QR codes for 20+ content types and lets you customize colors, eye design, pattern shape, and embed your own logo so your codes look professional and on-brand.
Does QRBot work offline?
Yes. Scanning and code generation work entirely offline in QRBot. Internet is only needed for actions that require it — opening URLs, cloud sync, or actually joining a Wi-Fi network.
Is my data private and secure with QRBot?
All scanning happens locally on your device. QRBot lets you lock scan history with Face ID or PIN, and cloud sync uses end-to-end encryption so only you can read your data.
Subscriptions and purchases
Cancel or change a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from. Deleting the app does not cancel them.
Restore a purchase
Reinstalled the app or switched phones? Open QRBot, tap Restore Purchases and use the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
Refunds
Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves.
Delete your account and data
Delete it in the app
In QRBot, open your account settings and tap Delete Account. Your account and the data saved to the cloud are deleted right away.
If the app is not installed
Fill in the form below with your account's email address and choose “Data deletion request” as the topic. To make sure the account is yours, we send a confirmation email to that address. Once you confirm, we delete your account and its data within 30 days and let you know.
Go to the formGood to know: Purchase records are kept by Apple and Google under their own policies. Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days.
