What is Authenticator?
Authenticator by Vidus6 is a privacy-first two-factor authentication app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. It generates TOTP codes on-device, syncs them end-to-end encrypted across your devices, and replaces SMS codes and hardware tokens with a clean, modern experience.
Does Authenticator work offline?
Yes. Authenticator generates TOTP codes entirely on-device and works without any network connection, so you can sign in even on a plane or in a basement — no Wi-Fi, no signal, no problem.
How does backup and sync work?
Authenticator encrypts your accounts end-to-end before they leave your device, then syncs them across iPhone, iPad and Mac. Your secrets are never visible to us — only your devices can decrypt them.
Can I import from other authenticators?
Yes. Authenticator can import your full Google Authenticator vault in minutes, scan QR codes from your camera or screen, or accept pasted secrets to bring existing accounts in effortlessly.
Will Authenticator support browser extensions and watchOS?
Both are in active development. Join the waitlist on our website to be notified the moment the Authenticator browser extension and watchOS companion go live.
Does Authenticator share data with analytics providers?
Usage analytics in Authenticator are opt-in and privacy-safe. We never share your secrets, account names, or any identifier tied to the services you protect — full stop.
Subscriptions and purchases
Cancel or change a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from. Deleting the app does not cancel them.
Restore a purchase
Reinstalled the app or switched phones? Open Authenticator, tap Restore Purchases and use the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
Refunds
Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves.
Delete your account and data
Delete it in the app
In Authenticator, open your account settings and tap Delete Account. Your account and the data saved to the cloud are deleted right away.
If the app is not installed
Fill in the form below with your account's email address and choose “Data deletion request” as the topic. To make sure the account is yours, we send a confirmation email to that address. Once you confirm, we delete your account and its data within 30 days and let you know.
Go to the formGood to know: Purchase records are kept by Apple and Google under their own policies. Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days.
