What is Sova?
Sova is an AI homework solver for iPhone, iPad, and Android that turns a photo of any homework problem into a clear, step-by-step solution. It covers math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history and 10+ other subjects, and acts like a personal tutor in your pocket.
Is Sova free to download?
Yes — Sova is free to download and includes free homework scans every day. An optional Premium upgrade unlocks unlimited scans, Genius mode, detailed explanations, follow-up questions, and more.
What subjects does Sova support?
Sova supports 10+ subjects including math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, geography, computer science and economics. It can also automatically detect the subject from your photo.
How accurate are the solutions?
Sova uses advanced AI models to deliver highly accurate step-by-step solutions and works best with clear, well-lit photos. While Sova is a powerful study aid, we recommend verifying solutions for graded or critical assignments.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, Sova needs an internet connection so its AI can analyze your photos. Your solved problems and chat history are stored locally on your device.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes — you can cancel any time through your Apple ID settings. You will keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.
Subscriptions and purchases
Cancel or change a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from. Deleting the app does not cancel them.
Restore a purchase
Reinstalled the app or switched phones? Open Sova, tap Restore Purchases and use the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
Refunds
Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves.
Delete your data
Request it from the app
In Sova, open the contact form in Settings, choose “Data Deletion Request” as the topic and send it. Messages from the app reach us together with the ID your data is stored under, so we can find and delete exactly your data. On an older version without that topic, pick any topic and write that you want your data deleted.
What happens next
We email the address you gave in the form to confirm the request. Once you confirm, your usage data, your subscription record and the messages you sent us are deleted within 30 days, and we let you know when it is done.
Good to know: Purchase records are kept by Apple and Google under their own policies. Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days. Sova does not ask you to create an account, so your data is tied to a random ID the app creates on your device, not to your name or email. If you have already deleted the app, that ID went with it and the remaining data can no longer be linked to you.
